DND Direct 2022 Walkthrough

Yesterday’s DND Direct 2022 Walkthrough had a LOT going on in one of the most jam-packed half hours I’ve ever witnessed while working as press. There was a lot more to see than I had already covered, including the return of Spelljammer and Dragonlance, although it took a lot of work to keep up. Here are the remaining projects that have been announced for this year and the following year to assist you and help you dig further into some of the news.

We’ll go over the announcements made during the first-ever D&D Direct and when we may expect each project.

What is DND Direct 2022 Walkthrough?

Wizards of the Coast provided information regarding their upcoming items at the first-of-its-kind 2022 D&D Direct event. On April 21, the event took place between 9 and 9:30 a.m. PT. Wizards of the Coast’s website has a video of the entire D&D Direct.

What was revealed in DnD Direct?

We received some wonderful information and updates on DND Direct 2022 Walkthrough continuing Wizards of the Coast assets during the event. The information that was revealed and what was discussed are outlined below:

Space Adventures Spelljammer

Spelljammer has been verified, as many had predicted and anticipated. Spelljammer: Adventures in Space will be a sleeve with three books: a source setting guide, a bestiary, and an adventure rather than a conventional adventure book. A DM screen and a two-sided poster map will be included in the sleeve of each 64-page book.

Check out our announcement for Spelljammer 5e to learn more about this announcement.

Three Baldur’s Gate

Improvements in the graphics and some new functionality (such as throwing weapons and monsters) were demonstrated. Except for the knowledge that Baldur’s Gate 3 would still be released in 2023, not much else regarding its release was disclosed.

Exploring the Radiant Citadel

Players can advance from levels 1 to 14 in the upcoming adventure anthology Journeys Through the Radiant Citadel. The Radiant Citadel, an extra-planar city floating in the Ethereal Plane and home to several different cultures, is featured in this anthology.

This interview with the project’s co-leads, Ajit George and Wes Schneider, contains the most in-depth information we have learned about it.

In addition to the details in the video above, the following information is provided about three of the adventures in the anthology:

Vice’s Pay

  • Caribbean-themed

Flowers of the Invisible Mountain

  • cross-country journey on a plane
  • Will involve the Feywild and be set in the Antigua region.
  • A player’s last destination is the Far Realm.
  • There will be a Far Realm monster called The Whistler, which is said to “horrify your group.”

Infernal Hollow Mind

  • Town of San Citlán
  • Theme: Day of the Dead (Da de los Muertos)
  • This event—in which the ghosts of the deceased return to the Material Plane—will be the focal point of the quest. On the day of the celebration, it appears that you will be able to talk and celebrate with individuals who have been separated from their loved ones.

Honor Among Thieves from the D&D movie

Regarding the upcoming D&D movie, we received a brief update. The movie’s setting in the Sword Coast region of the Forgotten Realms was also revealed, along with the title Honor Among Thieves. Waterdeep is clearly depicted in DND Direct 2022 Walkthrough the screenshot that served as the announcement’s background, which is not surprising given that it is the Sword Coast location that is featured the most in 5th Edition literature.

A fresh starter set

In 2022, a new Starter Set for Dnd direct 2022 walkthroughugh will be released. The Dragons of Stromwreck Aisle is a brand-new adventure that includes first. The rules will also be simpler and easier to follow. As a final bonus, it includes online onboarding resources through Wizard.

For the new Starter Set, no release date was provided. However, given that they stated a translated version would be made available on October 4th, it is logical to assume the new Starter Set will be available by then.

Dragonslayer, a Neverwinter game

Available on Xbox, PlayStation, and PC, Neverwinter is a no-cost action MMORPG based on Dnd direct 2022 walkthrough With new dragon lairs, a fight with the dragon goddess Tiamat, and an abundance of dragon-slaying adventurers, this new addition is jam-packed.

Dragonlance

This magnificent trailer, which features the amazing Shohreh Aghdashloo as the voice actor, teases at a post-apocalyptic setting where the dragon wars have decimated Krynn and only a few heroes are left to fight a horde of evil. The trailer also suggests the release of the combat game DND Direct 2022 Walkthrough  Warriors of Krynn and the adventure book Shadow of the Dragon Queen in late 2022.

For a complete trailer breakdown and more details about the Dragonlance universe, see our article on Dragonlance 5e.

 Conclusion

That’s it for now, guys! A lot of DND Direct 2022 Walkthrough news was covered in that half-hour. From my point of view, a lot of really cool information was revealed, and the anticipation for Spelljammer and Dragonlance will keep me busy for months to come.

Which announcement caused you the most elation? Spelljammer? No-cost monsters? Dragonlance?

What is the next DND direct release?

Glory of the Giants by Bigby (Spring 2023) is a companion volume to Fizban’s Treasury of Dragons, except it focuses on giants. The Book of Many Things (Summer 2023) is a collection of beings, places, and player-facing content that is connected to the Deck of Many Things on a conceptual level.

What is the longest game of DND ever played?

Two Dungeons & Dragons endurance records from that general time period can be found in our database. In Ilford, Essex, from June 30 to June [sic] 3, 1986, a team of eight players (six of whom finished) played for 66 hours. The longest game ever was played in 1983 by a team from Ogden, Utah, and it lasted 209 hours.

Is DND the oldest RPG?

The release of the D&D “table-top” edition is largely considered as the birth of the modern role-playing game and the business. The first role-playing game, a fantasy setting with a mediaeval European feel, was the boxed set of the original Dungeons & Dragons.

Does DND have an ending?

Every lengthy Dungeons & Dragons campaign must come to an end at some point. Every excellent story yearns for a satisfying conclusion, whether it’s your own homegrown sandbox adventure or a commercial module like Curse Of Strahd.
